All out Chocolate for Manchester Hen Party activities
MyChocolate offers chocolate workshops for Hen parties, perfect for any Brides-to-be with a sweet tooth. The workshop starts off with an education on chocolate with a tasting session of 100% chocolate and crushed cocoa beans. You’ll then get a chance to get the baking mitts on as you start your luxurious decoration of handmade chocolate treats.
Then the best bit, you’ll get goody bags filled with your chocolate creations and giant button each to take home. Great for energy or hangover cure for the rest of your Bachelorette weekend.
The full workshop is two hours long and £40pp. This is conditional on your Hen party having at least 5 people at the chocolate workshop. They also offer a service of personalising your experience, you just have to get in touch with them from the details on their website.
It’s located at Malmaison. This is one of our tipped Hen party accommodation options. Their schedule is every Saturday at 11am or 3pm but you can probably get in touch if you need a specific time.

You’ve seen it on TV, now experience it with your Hen party. Crystal Maze Manchester offers you the chance to have the live experience of solving puzzles yourself. It’s two hours long with your “Maze Master” guiding you through.
They have excellent reviews on Tripadvisor. It’s ranked #3 of fun things to do in Manchester, a high accolade. The reviews write about the high quality of the experience which was interesting. Some explained that their preconceptions were that this would be a budget build for a premium price.
It’s priced at £59 pp which is on the high side for two hours. Also it’s played in teams of 8 so will have to organise your Hen group accordingly. It’s located beside the Science and Industry museum.

Virtual Reality for Hen party activity in Manchester
Virtual Hideout in Manchester promises you to experience the future today. Book on the website and turn up to have 100 different options for experiences. Some examples include Shooters, Horror and Escape Rooms/Puzzles.
They have brilliant Tripadvisor reviews, rated as the top activity in Manchester. They get high marks for innovation and something different. Very suitable for any winter hen parties with the strong possibility of bad weather.
The pricing on the website is confusing and written about on the reviews. One headset is 40 pounds per hour. They usually recommend sharing between 2-4 people for that hour as it’s fun to see how people do with their VR game. So if you have 4 people then it’s 10 pounds and 15 minutes each on the headset.
Their max capacity at a time is 12 people with three headsets. If you have a large group over 12 then this is good to take into consideration. They also get booked out quickly so this is one that needs to be organised well in advance. They’re open 7 days a week from 10.30am to 6pm. They’re located at Church St.
Dance with your Hen’s
There isn’t any party like a Dance Party. Their team of instructors have danced with Beyonce, Rihanna, Little Mix, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and others. Now they’ve brought the routines to Manchester and can teach them to Hen parties.
One of their unique features is that they offer personalised music themed mashups. Perfect for any bride to be with specific music tastes. She will be delighted with this surprise. They also have free to use accessories such as flashing light rings, face gems and long sensual gloves. Their dance experience options include Thriller, Dirty Dancing and Grease.
Their starting price is £19pp and their dance location is in Manchester city centre. Though it changes depending on the season.
