The Best Reasons for Visiting Cork

Cork is one of our favourite cities here at PicTours…and we love sharing its fun vibes with visitors and locals alike!

You can’t skip a visit to Cork when visiting Ireland. Our southern city on the water is perfect for history buffs, foodies, outdoor adventurers, and so many more.

Head to The English Market, which is one of the oldest municipal markets in the world. It also happens to be a beautiful building that’s always bustling and fun to visit.

St. Patrick’s Street is the main shopping area in Cork and it serves as a main thoroughfare — so the people-watching is fabulous!

If you’re into history, Cork City Gaol Heritage Centre is a must-visit, as is Blackrock Castle, which rests right on the River Lee at Cork Harbour.

And we can’t skip the most obvious reason why so many of our American friends come to Cork: to kiss the Blarney Stone! It’s situated at Blarney Castle, just outside of Cork.

So come get the gift of gab and then join us for a fun walking tour around Cork. We’ll help you take the best photos around the city so you’ll always remember your epic Irish adventure!
